First full day...

On the first full day at the beach it was a little chilly. So we went to some fun places - like Atlantic City where we got to have Whitehouse Hoagies! And to Margate where I got to see a GIGANTIC elephant named Lucy!

Then we went to the fishing pier at the State Park and saw Uncle Sam and Cubby...

And I tried to climb into the water off of the pier. I just couldn't wait to get in the water. Especially when I saw all the cool little crab guys in there!

First Day in the sand...

The very first day in the sand, I decided I didn't like the ocean as much as I did when I saw it the first time! Then, I didn't know where Daddy went....Where is he?

Then I saw him, in the ocean! Look everyone!

Mommom and Poppop buried me in the sand! That was fun!

Please notice that while I am resting, Poppop is building me a sandcastle in the background! He likes playing on the beach as much as me! And I LOVED IT! I especially loved picking up seashells and watching the birds.

The very first day that I played on the beach, I ate a whole lot of sand! I payed for that later! I didn't eat it again!

Cubby and I had breakfast at Bob's.

Fun in the surf....

Poppop and I went for a lot of long walks. We checked to see what everyone was catching. I brought my fishing pole but never got to use it. Maybe next year. We're going for 2 whole weeks next year!

Boardwalk fun

Every night we went to the boardwalk! I tried my hardest to get Mama in my stroller but I had to settle for hugging her arm. She walked like that for a little bit.

And I got to play SkeeBall for the very first time. I must say, I'm pretty good at this game!

And of course I went on the Merry-Go-Round. I was VERY excited when I realized I was riding a horsie!

Holes

The last day playing on the beach we dug a great big hole - and everyone helped! Mommom, Poppop, Aunt Nanny, Nicky, Cubby, Mama, Daddy...EVERYONE!

When the tide came in we had a swimming hole and I was not afraid to dive right in! It go pretty deep but there were no big waves or jellyfish! Just our toys!

By the end of the day, the ocean took our hole away. And I was FILTHY!

Bye bye hole!

End of vacation

The last night at the beach I got to hang out with Nick Nick on the boardwalk. He taught me how to say 'I want some more.'

The very last day everyone went home early except us. We had to go for one last bike ride! Then, I got to see some marching bands from Daddy's shoulders. That was a lot of fun! I really like marching band music!

And of course, one last carousel ride with Mama. And one last search - I threw my sock out of my stroller and didn't tell anyone for a couple of blocks! he he! We found it - right where I put it!

I love to climb - especially all over Daddy!

Tunnels

I really like crawling through the tunnel at the playground.

I go really fast so Mama has to run really fast to the bottom, take my picture, and then run really fast to catch me on the other side! Sometimes she doesn't make it and I'm already going back the other way!

Labor Day

I got to hang out with some cousins on Labor Day. I just wanted to play - not take pictures!

Nicky and I played tackle football with a basketball. It might look silly but it was a whole lot of fun! I really like to tackle!

Aunt Ouchie!

Aunt Beky got a big Boo Boo on her neck! I saw her when she was getting it fixed and I didn't like it one bit! So, I went to visit her a few days later to give her some more hugs and kisses. In return, she gave me chocolate soy milk which I loved so much I took some home with me on my shirt!

I also got to play frisbee at the park.

And of course I held Dan's hand. He is a lot of fun! He's my buddy!
